In Ayurved, solutions for all body problems depend on three elements - Vata(air), Pitta(fire) & Kapha(Earth). If any one of them gets imbalanced in our body, then we face diseases related to that element. That's why it is very important to know our body type. Here "dominant" means that particular element is little more compared to other elements. So we should add those food items in our daily diet which can control the dominance of that element to balance Vata, Pitta & Kapha. 2am to 6am & 2pm to 6pm is Vata time as per Ayurved. Old age represents to Vata, at this age Vata dosha manifest in the body. In todays generation age above 45 comes under old age.

Role of Vata in our body: Any kind of movement in our body happens due to Vata, whether it is movement of food from stomach to intestines, muscle contraction or nerve impulses.

Vata= Ether+Air element combination.

Problems & Solutions :

Dryness :Vata is dry in nature and to control this we should use something which is smooth in nature. Oil massage with hot oil is best for them to reduce dryness problem. Massage whole body with (Mustard oil, coconut oil, sesame oil) 10 minutes before bath. Cures all dryness problems.

Weak Bone :Vata has direct impact on our bone element. Diseases related to weak bone elements are: Tooth Sensitivity, Tooth Weakness, Brittle nails problem, Joints problem. To control this they should put 2 drops of sesame oil in nose, oil pulling for mouth related problems, oil massage for body pains.

Coldness and Weak digestion :To avoid this they should add food which is heat in nature like luke warm water, hot food, garam masala along with Cow ghee, little amount of sour and salty food. Always cover your ear whenever you go out or sit in AC. Sit sometimes in sunlight.

Continuous Thought :Do meditation. Avoid more physical activity.

Food which should be consumed :Homemade butter, Curd, Buttermilk are good for them.

.Peanut oil and cow ghee consumption is good for them to reduce dryness.

.Use all kinds of fruits and consume natural sugar(jaggery(should be 6 months old), Mishri, Honey) avoid sugar.

.Oil made food (Puri, Paratha, Pakoda) are good for them.
