In Ayurved, solutions for all body problems depend on three elements - Vata(air), Pitta(fire) & Kapha(Earth). If any one of them gets imbalanced in our body, then we face diseases related to that element. That's why it is very important to know our body type. Here "dominant" means that particular element is little more compared to other elements. So we should add those food items in our daily diet which can control the dominance of that element to balance Vata, Pitta & Kapha. 2am to 6am & 2pm to 6pm is Vata time as per Ayurved. Old age represents to Vata, at this age Vata dosha manifest in the body. In todays generation age above 45 comes under old age.
Role of Vata in our body: Any kind of movement in our body happens due to Vata, whether it is movement of food from stomach to intestines, muscle contraction or nerve impulses.

Alertness :They will be always curious to know the things happening around them.They can hear low noise also.
.Their grasping power is strong but due to low memory power they forget the things fast.

.Their emotions will change frequently.
