Fatty Liver Treatment : As per Ayurved, Fatty liver is Kapha-related diseases. When Kapha element (fat/cholestrol) increases in liver then it becomes bulky or heavy. This is mostly seen in people who consume more fried food, Maida-made food, Sweet food, non veg, alcohol or people who have slow digestive fire and who eat heavy food which won't get digested.

How To Cure Fatty Liver Problem By Diet :

1. Giloy :It is light, smooth and heat in nature and bitter in taste. Due to its heat nature it helps in diseases related to Kapha. For Kapha related disease it should be consumed after food. Take half spoon of giloy powder with 1 spoon of honey after food twice a day. It removes extra Kapha from body. You can stop consuming this once your problem is cured. It should be consumed continuously for 3 months after that 1 month of break should be taken before restarting the medicine.

2. Ginger :Take half spoon of ginger juice or a small piece of ginger and consume this with 1 spoon of honey twice a day after food. Ginger is heat in nature and helps in curing Kapha related problems.

3. Tulsi :If you have fatty liver problem in this case you should consume tulsi kadha or juice. Tulsi is beneficial to use in this case. It is heat in nature and works well on Kapha problem . Take 1 or 2 spoon of tulsi juice with honey in the morning daily for 7 to 10 days.

4. Fenugreek (Methi) :It is heat in nature and bitter in taste. It helps in reducing Kapha effect in our body. Fatty Lever is a disease caused due to imbalanced Kapha. When Kapha amount increases in liver, people face fatty liver problem. Soak 10 to 15 seeds in hot water and drink this water in the morning with honey in empty stomach. Do this for 20 days. It can be repeated later also if it is required again.

5. Fennel Seed (Sauf) :It is heat, sharp and light in nature. Due to its heat nature it helps in reducing extra fat from body. In fatty liver problem also extra fat accumulates in liver. To reduce the extra Kapha (Fat) you should consume fennel seedss (3 to 6 gm) in a day after food.

6. Garlic :It is heat in nature and pungent in taste. Good for Vata and Kapha body type. Due to its heat nature it helps in reducing extra fat from body. In fatty liver problem also extra fat accumulates in liver. You can consume garlic either in vegetables or in roasted form or in pickle form.
