We know that applying oil on hair is good. We have seen that some oil suits someone but the same oil might not suit others. Today we will learn about the nature or type of our hair and which oil is best for our hair. According to ayurved our body type is divided into three parts Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Below we will describe the hair type and quality of Vata, Pitta and Kapha type people.
Hair Oil As Per Body Type:
Vata:
People who come under Vata (restless in nature) type will have dry, thin and split ends hair. They should use oil which controls Vata in their body. Sesame oil is the best for them. Sesame oil is heat and smooth in nature and controls Vata. Mustard oil can also be used by them as this is also heat in nature. Any other ayurvedic oil made up of using sesame or mustard can be used.
Pitta:
People who come under Pitta (hot temperament) type will have thin and brown/golden hair. Their hair will become white at young age and baldness problem also comes due to excessive heat in their body. They should use oil which is cold in nature and can reduce excess heat. Coconut, Bhringraj, Amla oil or any other ayurvedic oil made up of using coconut, bhringraj, amla can be used. Coconut oil along with hibiscus is also good for them.
Kapha:
People who come under Kapha (slow in nature) type will have high volume hair. Hair color will be black. They should use oil which is heat in nature because Kapha is already cold and smooth in nature. They can use mustard oil or mustard oil along with fenugreek or aloe vera.
Note:
If we put 2 drops of the same hair oil in our nose, it will give the best result. Best time to apply oil on hair is early morning before bath. Due to sunlight oil gets absorbed properly. Our head is the root of our body and if we apply oil before bath it gives nourishment to whole body.
