Sometimes people face hairfall or white hair problems shortly after the age of 16. In ayurved, our life cylce (age) is divided into Vata (after 40), Pitta (after 16 & before 40) & Kapha (0 to 16). We know that Pitta is heat in nature, due to Pitta our metabolism also increases. If we dont take correct food diet during young age then this Pitta increases more and makes imbalance between Vata, Pitta & Kapha. This increased Pitta (heat) starts moving upwards. Pitta has property to make the process faster. When Pitta increases in our head it increases our hair growth process and gives us grey hair or white hair problems in young age.
Hair Fall Root Treatment :
1. SALT: Consumption of salt or salt made food in more amount causes premature greying and baldness problem. All the packed food contains salt as preservative like chips, mixture, roasted nuts, pickles. Salt is heat in nature and it increases Pitta(heat) in body. This increased Pitta later mixes with blood element and increases the degeneration process of hair.
2. All fried and oily items: All fried items increases Pitta in body. Fried items are good for old age (45 above) people because at that age Vata increases in body and fried item decrease the Vata in body.
Solution of hairfall & Pre-mature greying problems for young age (16 to 40) people:
1. Avoid food which increases Pitta in our body specially in Summer & Autumn Season. Sour, Salty and Spicy food increase Pitta - consume these tastes less in your daily meal. Add Sweet, Bitter and Astringent taste more in your daily meal.
You can replace your salt with pink salt (Sendha namak) because according to ayurved, sendha namak is sweet in taste and cold in nature. It doesn't increases Pitta in our body.
2. Ghee is best ayurvedic medicine for young age people. It is cold and smooth in nature and keeps Pitta balanced.
3. Our hair quality depends on our Asthi Dhatu (Bone tissue). Give nourishment to Asthi Dhatu through your diet. Eat bitter vegetables like bittergourd twice a week. If possible cook this vegetable in cow ghee, it gives best result on Asthi (Bone) & Majja (Bone-Marrow) Dhatu if it is cooked in Cow ghee.
4. Amla has all 5 tastes, try to consume a little amount of amla in any form like chutney, pickle, sweet pickle, raw amla. You can consume a tea spoon of amla powder along with ghee & mishri before or after food twice in a day.
5. Use Chawanprash daily in the morning. It gives nourishment all 7 tissues of our body. You can avoid this in summer season.
6. Clean your stomach after every 2 months to remove corrupted Pitta from body. Raisins and organic castor oil helps to remove corrupted Pitta from our body. Soak 5 to 10 Raisins in a cup of water and consume this early morning in empty stomach. Do this for 5 to 10 days, corrupted Pitta will go out of your body through motion. You can take a spoon of pure organic castor oil in empty stomach in morning for a week to remove corrupted Pitta. You can visit any ayurvedic center and perform Virechan panchkarma to remove the corrupted Pitta.
7. Massage your foot sole with ghee before sleeping.
8. Do meditation for 10 to 15 mins. Put 2 drops of ghee in nose in the morning. It will reduces excessive Pitta from your mind.
