Amla Benefits For Hair : Amla is the best remedy for any hair related problem like hair fall, white hair or to regrow new hair. Consume amla in any form (raw amla, chutney, sweet pickle, pickle, murraba) to maintain your overall health as well as your hair health. Amla has 5 tastes among the 6 tastes of ayurved. Below we are describing how to make home made amla oil. Nowadays amla oils available in the market are not always pure and hence doesn't give good result on hair.

Home Made Amla Hair Oil

1. Take fresh amla, wash it with water to remove dirt.

2. Once it is washed, keep it in sunlight to make it dry.

3. Grate amla using grater and squeez the juice.

4. You can mix coconut oil or sesame oil in equal amount. Cocnut oil is good for Pitta body type & can be used by everyone during summer season and sesame oil is good for Vata & Kapha body type & can be used by everyone in winter season.

5. Take any iron vessel and boil this mixture on low flame. You can cover it with lid partially.

6. When this mixture becomes half or when water evaporates, at that moment turn off the gas.

7. Drain the oil when it cools down to a glass jar.

8. Apply this oil 30 mins before bath daily in the morning.

9. Within 2 to 3 months it will reduce the hair dullness and dryness problem.

10. If it is used 6 months continuosly along with correct diet than it stops premature greying.

11. If you dont have fresh amla than take 100 gm organic amla powder and soak it in half litre of water.

12. Next day boil this water until it becomes half (250gm) and at this moment add oil either coconut or sesame oil. And follow the above mentioned procedure.

13. Dont mix any curry leaves, fenugreek or anyother thing in this. If you want to add this item in oil than increase the quantity of amla.

14. In case if you add 50 gm curry leaves /fenugreek then amla juice quantity will be 250gm + 50 gm = 300 gms.
