1. Digestive Fire (Jathar Agni) : Our immune system depends on our digestive fire (Jatharagni), If our digestive fire is low then our immune system will also be low. Always eat food which is easily digestable. Avoid heavy food (specially during dinner) like paneer, milk, makkhan, non-veg if your metabolism is slow. Rasa dhatu is the first dhatu among 7 dhatus. This is formed only when our food gets digested. If our food doesn't get digested then it rots in our stomach and produces toxins. It is important to focus on digestive fire first, because if your digestive fire is good then only your food will get digested. Once our food is digested it will make plasma tissue and the same will help in formation of next dhatu which is blood tissue (Rakta dhatu), muscle, bone , bone marrow and reproductive fluids and at last it will help in formation of immune system. 3. Immunity booster Tea : Tulsi, Giloy, Clove and raw Turmeric all these have property to boost your immune system. Take 2 cup of water and add a tulsi leaf, grated turmeric,2 cloves and 1/4 tea spoon of giloy powder or giloy juice. Boil this water until it becomes half (this step is mandatory). When we boil water and make it half then it contains the property to cure fever, indigestion and dry/wet cough. This water is useful in all Vata, Pitta and Kapha related diseases. In this Kadha or tea you can add half inch of grated ginger (avoid if you have bleedy piles or constipation problem). If you have cough discharge problem then add 1 black pepper, remember black pepper is very heat in nature and it is useful for people who have cough discharge problem. Note : Avoid adding honey in tea, according to Ayurved honey looses all it's property in hot water. We need to drink this tea when it is hot, if you want to add honey then add only when it is luke warm else honey makes toxin in hot water. You can increase the quantity of water and other ingredients if you are making in more amount.
4. Steam : You can take steam of your kadha or tea for few minutes, this will help in killing bacteria which comes through breathing.
5. Whole Green Gram Water : Barley is light in weight and easily digestable compared to wheat. It is good for people who have breathing or respiratory problems. Consume 1/4 spoon of amla powder with 1 spoon of honey in case of cough discharge. If you face constipation problem by consuming amla then use it with cow-ghee. Amla acts as an immunity booster food.

16. Nose Drop : Put 2 drops of either mustard oil or ghee in nose before sleeping. If you are Pitta dominant body type then avoid mustard oil because mustard oil is heat in nature.
